Founder Katherine Hutt is an award-winning communicator who has worked with a wide range of nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses for more than three decades. She is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America and a past Washington PR Woman of the Year. Earlier in her career she helped launch a Washington, DC advocacy organizations and for ten years was national spokesperson for the Better Business Bureau. She is co-founder and board chair of Houghton Hall Arts Community, a low-cost, shared rehearsal and teaching space for actors and performing arts organizations in midtown Manhattan.

The Art of Purposeful Growth

We are inspired by the chambered nautilus, a true survivor and one of the last of the nautiloids that once dominated the seas. As the animal grows it creates bigger and bigger compartments, forming a mathematically perfect spiral. It lives in the largest, outermost chamber but uses the old chambers to control its buoyancy and propulsion.

The flawless form of the shell is a thing of beauty, but it serves a vital purpose, enabling the chambered nautilus to survive 450 million years as its cousins have become extinct.
